Victoria 2026 Commonwealth Games Announcement
It's official Regional Victoria will host the 2026 Commonwealth Games!
Four regional hubs will be established in Geelong, Bendigo, Ballarat and Gippsland, each with an athletes’ village. Shepparton will also host events, and the MCG will host the opening ceremony.
We are incredibly excited to welcome the Commonwealth Games back to our home state of Victoria. RGS Events were a sponsor and supplier to the last Games held in Victoria, the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games and it was a privilege to be involved in such a fantastic event.
Congratulations to all involved in bringing this event to Regional Victoria, we have no doubt it is going to be an incredible Commonwealth Games.
